If You Fail to Plan, You Have Just Planned to Fail!

I know, a cliche we've all heard some rendition of before, but with weight loss it's an all out fact -- you have to have a plan or you will not succeed!  At this point in my life I've come to realize, for myself at least, that I don't have to have just one weight loss plan to get the job done.  As a  matter of fact, I think I need lots of options so when I get bored or irritated with one "plan" I can try another and not fall off that weight loss band wagon.  I've tried lots of plans and I think all have good points and, depending on the day and my mood, I think all have their bad points as well.  Right now I'm doing the counting calories plan because that's what is easiest for me.  Working full time, being a mom to one incredibly energetic 2 year old, and wife to a wonderful husband, needless to say life gets hectic - and if I have to think too much about my "plan" I'm going to get frustrated and quit. 

That doesn't mean YOU have to follow the same plan I am, but you DO have to follow a plan if you want to succeed!  I encourage you to find a plan (or two or three...) that you like and are comfortable with and just jump right in with both feet.  I'll post lots of information on this blog to help you find the right plan or plans for you as well as support mechanisms for those plans -- you can mix and match as  you see fit, just be creative!

i am doing the same thing your are - i have decided this is the year to get fit and healthy and lose the weight once and for all - i know we can do it!
